For those of you out there who miss rock and roll circa 1989 Seattle, Ryan Adams reminds us why it was great before its demise. He does a little soul channeling in this rare version of These Girls off his latest record Easy Tiger. Word on the street is that Adams will release a cover of Alice and Chains’ Down in a Hole on an upcoming EP due in October. After a well needed break, I myself am rediscovering Mr. Adams after serving him chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake, and orange juice while slaving away at a restaurant in New York City’s meatpacking district.
